Listening to some music with the FiiO FT1 Pro and the Snowsky Melody that I got several days ago. So far, it sounds pleasant overall, and the overall cost is probably the best part. Roughly $270 total ($219+$40+shipping), which is a steal.

@bronze The Snowsky Melody is a DAC/amp, not an MP3 player. I'm listening to music on my computer via USB-C port.

@Ree @bronze I've thought of getting that one almost a decade ago, but I wanted something smaller (and cheaper). What headphones/speakers did you use with it?

@berkberkman oh nice! Is there really much difference between planars and regular dynamic drivers?

@newt I can't say for sure because I don't have many other over-ear headphones and this is my first planar headphone ever. I'd like to get one of those FiiO FT1 closed-back headphones for the value or those old Sony MDR headphones (the MDR-V6 or MDR-7506) since they seem to hold up for years. The only headphone pair that I compared with is the Audio-Technica ATH-M50, and the FT1 Pro sounded better than those.
