       One of the things I've learned making videos is that for archival purposes, always have a solid black header and trailer on a video. No lost data due to time cropping.

       @PNS on a related note, despite my own meticulous (I thought) backup practices, I find myself having to recreate elements if ever I have to open an old video edit or DAW session. Ugh.

       @Derdnik I like working with video mroe than audio.Somehow editing audio and video simultaneously makes more sense to me.I used Vegas for video and Ableton for DAW stuff. Else I use Audacity for audio editing, or SoundForge for stuff I need VSTs for.
