       I’m gave no extreme weather here in the Pacific Northwest, but  wind storm knocked the power out a month ago. I took the opportunity to (excitedly) try some of my preps! The tea light candles in muffin tins became hot enough to heat water for coffee! Sharing in case anyone without power needs coffee. ♥️

       I always make my family deal withput power twice a year. I kill all the breakers except the refridgerator, just because we can pretend its out. To prove which items really matter and which dont. How we bathe and cook. How we pass the time and how we stay warm. It was very eye opening the first couple times, its a cakewalk nowadays. I always try something new each time. Might add this to the list of to-do's.
