When the first MAID assessor arrived she withdrew approval (that she may never have actually given - we only have the husbands word on this). You'll note she cited religious beliefs for not wanting MAID. That's not the sort of thing people tend to be wishy washy on.

It was either MAID or husband being charged for walking away and letting her starve. Pick one.
