       @bonifartius I'm glad protests are a thing but you've gotta either have nothing to lose or be more than a little stupid to actually go to themMaybe that's just me being a coward but being shot, maimed, debanked, or otherwise having your life ruined for the sake of futilely trying to defend principles doesn't seem like a good deal

       @scathach yes, it's painting a big fat red target on oneself. especially trying to act tough as a single person just doesn't make any sense. bonus for expecting that "laws" will be followed and applied just. guy who organized covid protests was locked away for a year awaiting a trail about tax fraud - turned out he categorized about 20€ wrong. protests are ineffective and when something goes wrong, it's a very shit place to be in.
