       Jan 24, 2026@14:50 (!) Good afternoon family & friends❣️ I've been working on my updates/posts here while Zoey (she is so darling, so polite, I just love her!) works on the house. We've done a couple of 2-person jobs together as well, she's just finishing up the back of the house right now. I plan to spend the rest of the day at my keyboard (or as long as I can manage) but first I want to check what is going on with this storm, especially for my bestie Heidi in MO, my dear sister-in-Christ Cathy in OH, Gwen & Don in KY, and my niece - their younger daughter - Olivia in one of the Carolinas, can never remember which...although I don't think the storm is there yet but I want to check. The other beloved friend I always check on, Annette, is north of the storm, as are we, but also dealing with historically cold temperatures. I am going to make a chili-dog-in-a-bowl for myself today, ever since I watched Hope (Mission Hope:  https://www.youtube.com/@MissionHope316 (she's fantastic, does health, food, fitness, planners, etc. and has an adorable dog named Ralphie, check her out!) make some a few days ago. I'll make a regular chili for Pete. I'm going to add a little keto pasta to my bean-less version, and Pete will have pasta and beans in his. Anyway, I can't wait to eat.        @ChiaChatter Good afternoon, Sherry. Good to hear from you. Here in SA watching the temperature slide down. It was 40 when I woke this morning, 34 now. Rain is supposed to start soon and continue through midnight. Freezing rain is forecast for tonight.
