I think you'd both agree it's an unreliable and somewhat degrading way of being compensated for the value you offer to largely freeloading audiences. It clearly bothers you both.Not to say you necessarily need paywalls and cute vTuber shills instead, but if you both find the begging like hobos thing degrading and insufficient, new revenue gathering methods and angles must be explored. Graf's position is more flexible and uncertain in options than Rand's, but Rand has ALL of his proven solutions already provided to him on a silver platter and needs only start digging in. Both have unique challenges and advantages to handle.Both of you ought to succeed given your talents and efforts. Whether you will succeed or not depends on whether you grow beyond mere busking and utilize new ways of delivering value to your audiences. Or, if biting each other over who is a more noble and unappreciated digital hobo is too personally gratifying, just stay the course.

And when someone suggests if he hates starving so badly, maybe he should forage a bit, he lashes out at them as if morally offended. He's clearly having another hysterical episode where the stress of funding his project by scraping and begging makes him lash out at everyone - especially those just pointing out that he's enjoying the lack-of-fruits of his choices, just like Rand enjoys his. If they like it so that they'll ban the obvious observer, then I guess let them wallow in it.If he wants to be an ill-compensated hobo, then he should stop complaining about people compensating him like a hobo. Same with Rand. If he wants to NOT bow and scrape and beg for every nickel like a street urchin, then he should explore new ways to encourage people to become patrons to his project. He can ban me, whatever that means, but he can't escape the simple reality. There are gluttonous ways to eat, and responsible ways to eat, and there are stupid ways to eat. But one must eat. Things cost money, and most people don't pay for free things without other forms of incentive. Both Graf and Rand use incentives like anyone else. The incentive they currently use more than anything else is emotional coaxing of the lowest kind - begging and then becoming abusive when their begging yield is insufficient - which frankly is more degrading and unpleasant for everyone involved than most other forms of incentive. If you provide something for free, don't bitch about people accepting your price happily and moving on.
