       I’m pondering to create a service, web app , that would sent email notifications for new mentions at socials like poa.st that don’t support email notifications or have them turned off, good idea?

       @CSB I think bad idea, but you may like a periodic job that does a query against a fedi site and returns the last 20? 50? 100? posts or whatever criteria that matches a phrase or user mentioned. Then locally dedupe returns since last run and present the info to you however you like. Run the job once or twice a day. You could add it to a spreadsheet or an html file so you can view the toots offline with a click to respond link on each one. Using many emails for event class msgs is stupid/lazy

       @CSB Ryno gave me a copy of newly AI written code that tabulates votes on his music stream's "now playing" Fedi account.Python bot w/a hash table periodically wakes up & queries his Fedi site for a vote pattern.  Top 10 are posted periodically in a summary toot along w/extra metadata like links to each song. Extensible & works commands via toots & IRC now.You just need to figure out your query & output form and if its to be a sleeping process or cron job. Then prompt the AI to code gen it.
