       @Dice just started a 5e game with my indo friends (they never played any ttrpg or really any rpg games) and i really wish we were playing 1e or 3.5e instead. we're all having a good time tho

       @sampler@freebeerextremist.com I'm not a massive on the details guy, it's more about fun around the table. If my friends aren't having fun, I can't just point to the book and blame that, the people who wrote it are not responsible for my game.

       @Zergling_man@sacred.harpy.faith @sampler@freebeerextremist.com My first game was the best game I run, it being 5e didn't matter. What mattered was I came prepared, my players took the game seriously enough to be understand that the NPCs aren't me, just characters I'm acting out and they knew to take a hint and follow the plot threads.
