       @casuist see the problem with that is he alex jones'd it. right about the kikes, but as a whole, traditional chinese mediciene is quakery on the level of bloodletting. lets say there is a combination of herbs and materials that treat a symptom, why do they work? the traditional chinese medicene man will not be able to tell you or make up some bs about your dantan, breathing, and meridians. while a chemist would tell you the reason willow bark tea works as pain relief is that it contains salicin which the body converts into acetylsalicylic acid aka asprin.

       @Heil_Honkler @casuist They did the same thing to our traditional medicine, label it up all pseudoscience and gave us SSRIs, sedatives, vaccines and many other goodies which while being very scientifically made are a different type of quackery, just made very scientifically in a lab like Oxycontin an opioid that wasn't scientifically meant to be addictive.There are lots of things in traditional Chinese and European medicine that works but whose active principles can't be distilled, refined and sold as medicines because they can't be patented so they get lumped with the quackery.Please never confuse the difference between engineering (synthesising and packing a pill) and the scientific process of understanding why or how a given molecule acts inside the body, those are two very different things and big pharma's science is excellent on the former and almost absent in the later.An example, Chamomile tea is one if not the best remedies to easy an upset digestive tract, no secondary effects, pure quackery compared to pepto-bismol's science in a bottle.
