       @AnungIkwe They don't think we're stupid. They knew that we would think this. That's why it had to be in laws and policies and institutions long before we realised it was a thing. That's why it needed a shit ton of propaganda to bolster it. That's why they had to frame public dissent as evil to keep the doubters in line. That way they could use citizens to police other citizens. These people are not stupid either. They are smart, and nasty with it. It's worth the erosion of society and the abolition of free speech and the demonisation of dissenters and the collapse of trust in institutions  to get what they want. Because these things are the things they want. They used genderwoo as just one way of achieving it.
