As a father of three boys I spend a decent amount of time thinking about what young men need to be successful. I have it narrowed down to the following:Self control.Be dangerous.Know how to teach yourself new skills.Know how to follow the rules, how not to follow rules highly effectively and know when to do each.Know how to cook.

@Henhouse_Cockerel I tell my oldest I’ll teach him how to be more dangerous and how to break the rules better once I know he has self control locked in.

@Henhouse_Cockerel I was an army infantryman, and my dad was a pyrotechnics expert. I know lots of dangerous.

@Jagahati solid advice, especially cooking. That's an often overlooked skill. Being a decent cook can be a way to save money, a way to impress people and be able to afford quality food so you aren't killing yourself with the crap passed off as food from restaurants. You should never stop learning skills.Another good piece of advice is to learn how to not only accept failure but how to learn and grow from it. Failure should sting but never defeat you.Your boys will probably become real men 👍

@NashRicky if you follow no rules you end up in a cage or shot by a guy with a gun and a badge. If you don’t follow rules you won’t stay married or hold a job.This doesn’t mean you follow every rule someone throws your direction. Hence know how and when to break the rules.
