@eris the few times I tried ground turkey substitute, it turned into a watery mess. Chicken definitely has better consistency

@lewdthewides @eris never buy any ground meat at the store especially poultry. They soak it on saline to boost sale weight but this ruins the consistency of turkey when cooking. Also sometimes they put lousy flavor ants inJust get whole pieces of meat and run em thru a food processor, way better and generally the same price. Plus you won't get the floor sweepings and little bit of left over connective tissue added in

@eris I think it was Butterball. Ground chicken is just as common now, so I never looked back after that disaster
