       @jrm4 but what's the long-term strategy? Twitter is under his control. the conversation will always serve his interests. this place is slowly becoming less safe.

       @wjmaggos I think "under his control" is carrying a lot of water there, in my experience. I don't think he's either smart nor powerful enough to render it unusable at this point.There is no "long-term" strategy that I think is *very likely or worth working very hard to* right now. Twitter is what it is --  Bluesky and mastodon are what they are. I hope they become more popular and I also get why they *dont*#socialmedia
