My husband has been going to "Recycle a Bicycle" for years. This week he donated a bunch of bike stuff and found out that they have a new location in Brooklyn. The new location is harder to get to but much larger and it's full of used bikes. Their website makes it look like they only have a few bikes. I think they just don't update it all the time. I kind of wish I was in the market for a new bike. You need to go in person.https://www.recycleabicycle.nyc

@futurebird We used to have a place like this in my town but they were not able to renew their lease and now they’re gone.

@MisuseCase We were scared that this is what happened to our place, but I think their new bigger space is an upgrade in many ways. I just worry people will think they are gone. They aren't. They have lots of bikes. They want your donations. They do repair classes. Their used bikes are the best I've ever used. Top quality work.

@futurebird Arlington VA has a similar program. It is also used to train people in bike repair, some of whom might be able to work in bike repair.
