@jesu i finished 3 books in january, and have only 26 left because i also started 2 more even though i kind of wanted to get my currently reading pile clean before i add any more :aaaa: :ablobcatsweatsip: I have to finish 3 courses until next month and also prepare for my driving test but if i condense them sown and use the 1.5x speed trick for the parts that i already know a bit about i might actually be able to do them.But at least do you have some temporary relief sometimes? Being stuck and seeing no way out not even a temporary one or having an anchor, be that a goal or an achievement can feel like you trying to run a marathon in the desert surrounded by quicksand.

@tibike that's a good amount of reading! 26 books! That's quite the achievement... Ahh college, that sucks, 1.5x speed sounds the way. How's home life?Yeah I have some temporary relief, things are at least calm and I have an anchor now. I've got music and blogging, I've been working on my site. It's been nice playing guitar and listening to Jazz.

@jesuThis isn't college, i have to do some courses to advance as a software dev because company requires it from me, and i also would like to do them but if i do work and programming related stuff in all of my free time i feel I'll get too detached of my other stuff and i'd also like to progress there.The books are my currently reading pile that i accumulated in the last 10 years and plan to reduce it to 0 this year. Half of it is technical books even the SICP :blobcatreadingsicp: is in that bunch. But i don't like half-assing stuff and also plan on doing the exercises, i just don't seem to find enough time to do everything I want to do.At home it got even more time constrained for me since my wife went back to work but that's that.

@tibike ahh good luck! I wanna do C99 programming, maybe make a JSRF+JSR clone in a new engine, I think I could make a fun use of making old levels into more fun new levels, and making some more bus terminals, and that would be fun... I think I could make it a Dreamcast mod or an Xbox mod...
