       Listen, guys. About this meme. We ALL know there are plenty of assholes in this world, and many of them are currently in power and causing all different kinds of havoc. I know this meme captures only three of them. Even so, imagine a world without these three in power. Just, imagine it.

       @magdalenahai Problem is there are more assholes waiting in the wings. And the alternatives were being pitched are also assholes. What I’m trying to say is that the asshole problem is systemic.

       @aral @magdalenahai The problem is that too many of us conflate "leadership qualities" with the same behavior we attribute in other species to apex predation, then we wonder meekly why we're all on the dinner plate.
