@whiteman_ @alexmussolini88 That's a very good point. But jenova/jehova is not native to this planet/land. The Cetra were native to it. And jehova was the calamity that fell from the sky. Which unfortunately sephiroth being tainted. Literally wants to not just destroy all life too avenge his birthright, but also kill the planet by taking the lifestream with him.

@striderpod @alexmussolini88 @demonofustio i didn't enjoy ff7 remake enough to play any more of it, tried ff13 through 16 and they're all just bad for different reasons, couldn't finish 16 it was insufferable. but you're right about the music, it's less melodic/thematic in general. In ff6 the music always matches the environment and each character has a strong theme/leitmotif element to it. I'm curious now what's the most recent game i've played that had a soundtrack more than just reverb and ambience
