       Why is my home Wi-Fi always so slow? This is the best I can get out of it :( I'm using a UniFi U6 Lite, Wi-Fi 6, 5 GHz, and the AP is in the room next door, so there really shouldn't be any issues.Any tips?

       @can@haz.pink I'd test local (meaning device-to-device on the same LAN) transfer speeds as well, using something like iperf3 or like openspeedtest to see if it's a WAN, device, or wireless access point bottleneck :neocat_think:

       @louis it's definitely the WiFi. Same bottleneck when transferring locally over WiFi. Ethernet (local and WAN) works at full 1G speed as expected.

       @can@haz.pink huh :noted: and Ethernet to WiFi? Also, does Wifiman report any issue (especially regarding channel width, channel health, and WiFi band)?

       @louis just complains about signal strength. It's about 10m through one wall. That should be fine, right?

       @can@haz.pink well, -77 seems rather low and could very well explain those results... :neocat_think: it depends on multiple things, such as signal-to-noise ratio, or the width and composition of said wall :neocat_book:

       @louis someone suggested moving it from the floor to the wall. Seems to make a huge difference (3x). So I guess it really was just signal strength. Thanks for helping debugging it.

       @can@haz.pink no problem, always a pleasure! :epic_handshake:
