       @mi you can't actually post plaintext in activitypub though, it always converts it to htmlon mastodon, every single newline is a <br> and every double newline is a </p><p>mentions and hashtags are anchor tags with classes that tell the client to look it up on fedi instead of opening the browser. friendica didn't use to set its classes correctly, which is why its mentions had link previews..
