One of way of enshitification is to add more and more unnecessary things, and all those bloatwares started with something "free".So i try to look closer before buy.

@Stomata @Tutanota @BubblegumYeti @mcSlibinas correct.. I'm also using both tuta & proton according to my needs... Both are free version.. Tuta is much better than proton in terms of security and privacy... In UI proton is better. But I prefer Tuta over proton anytime...

Those blobs are for push notification using google just like signal. Though push notification can be implemented with unified push. They don't talk about it when asked :)

When I said fdroid I mean the official repo that builds from source code. @mollyim@fosstodon.org is a signal fork that doesn't contain those blobs.

Right now Firefox is now on 147.0.1 and fennec is still on 147.0.0 they will likely skip everything between 148.0.0 if nothing crashes. I recommen ironfox fork https://gitlab.com/ironfox-oss/IronFox BTW they don't support fdroid official repo for the version skipping and other issues they have.
