       In 1994, there was a very public genocide in Rwanda. The UN was already there and rather than send reinforcements, rather than help protect the victims or help the victims flee at least, the UN said naw and left. That was proof to me of how useless the UN is and I never looked back. They allow countries to sit on their human rights council who have hideous human rights violations. They are a joke.
