       - An emancipated minor collapses at her factory job. Even House ends up stunned into wholesomeness by this one.- A desperate man takes House hostage at gunpoint to get a diagnosis. This episode has simultaneously House's dumbest moment and his best moment. They're not two different moments, they're the same one. Also, Avon Barksdale from The Wire guest stars.- An oddly cute fitness guru foid is exercising... TO DEATH. This is also the "I hereby declare them ruled out" episode.VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISEDStarting 7:30 pm EST (6:30 CT, 5:30 MT, 4:30 PST).Join us and watch here: https://videofrens.club/r/spcmovienight

@SPCmovienight >This episode has simultaneously House's dumbest moment and his best moment. They're not two different moments, they're the same one.Specifically, the part where House gives the guy his gun back. It's the most House thing ever, he needs to solve the puzzle more than he cares about anyone else's safety. If only more doctors could be that sociopathic. Especially while 13 gets gigatriggered about it. If House was real, 13 would've gotten the vax and died of "suddenly" long before the Huntington's could kill her, and House would have rejected the vax because it was experimental mRNA, and his vax-free gene seed would contain enough vril to enact Holocaust 2.

@SPCmovienight And of course I would be so horribly neglectful if I didn't mention the sponsor of tonight's Shitposter.world House Monday!

@SPCmovienight One other thing I really loved about the hostage episode (it's called "Last Resort") was that no one ever says out loud that the patient never wanted to kill anyone, but through his actions you can tell, because ultimately he doesn't kill 13. At the beginning, he only shoots that one guy and he wants to make sure it was non-fatally (you CAN kill someone by shooting them in the leg, the femoral artery is an extremely dangerous place to be hit in, like in Black Hawk Down). If you look, after he shoots the guy he seems to be like "well, I'm this deep in it now" but at the same time you can see he didn't like doing it and doesn't want to. He also only cocks the gun once, which is something you see people do over and over in movies and TV (to the point where pissjima would make people do it to eject completely unfired bullets in his games because he's stupid) but in this episode he only does it once, and it was ultimately to fire, which means he went in with a gun that had nothing chambered until he actually did it. The fact that none of this is spelled out verbally by any character proves that this show was different from everything else. Even House seems to know that this guy isn't going to shoot anyone, or at least doesn't want to, but he never spells that out either.Great episode!
