Its supposed to be snow/icemageddon thsi weekend here in the carolinas. I have a gut feeling its going to be a few days of being snowed and iced in without power. Our fam lives on a well. I know how to make clay pot heaters and we have a wood burning stove we haven't used for years. I have a charcoal grill we can cook with outside and I am headed to get some bottled water because no power=no water. What are your best power outage prep hacks?

@TheCM Those propane gas camp stoves are pretty handy, too.I'd fill up the bathtubs with water. Not for drinking, but you can pour a bucket slowly into the toilet to force a flush if well's not filling the tank (unless you're also on septic and you have a septic pump, at which point you just need to monitor your tank to make sure the waste water level doesn't get too high). If you have battery packs, get them fully charged (so you can recharge phones) or have a charging cable in the car.
