My wife's grandmother used to live in Iran, she plays the cello, she does full-brush calligraphy, and she has done notary work - I kid you not - *for fun.* She's also lived in three continents. My patrilineal grandmother collected African relics, from giraffe statues to masks to old safari videos. She knew every Elvis song by heart and read a book every week. She drank tea in the morning and coffee at night, just to prove that she slept fine. God loves grandmothers, and He loans them to us to bless us.RT: https://poa.st/objects/a41464d6-c40e-4b40-8509-e0712cbad54c

I miss mine a lot and rather wish I had known her more when I was less of a young idiot

@SuperLutheran My grandma had an Elvis room full of memorabilia and once knocked my grandfather out with a cast iron pan bc she thought he was a burglar. True story. Grandmas are cool.
