       Denmark has one of the highest tax rates in the world. Greenland's rates are higher than the US'. That stuff isn't free.

       No one chooses tax rates. They are always imposed by the barrel of a gun. You're just talking about in which order the gun appears.And it will work. The people will go along or they will lose everything. The financial elite are serious people. The Danish know that and will capitulate.

First of all, I pay taxes *even when I don't have to*.  Pretty much every year of my adult life i've made a point to paying more taxes than I owe, some years 100% of my income.
