Right I'm not interested in starting a flame war but I am interested to see how many folk in 2026 use #Wayland or #Wayback and how many use #X11 or even #Xlibre . @justine I'm mostly using Wayland but I am running with different DE and WM. From lightest to heaviest, it goes as such: Sway, Lxqt with labwc, Cosmic and KDE Plasma.My oldest machine (15 years old laptop) is the one running Lxqt with labwc as the Window compositor. He is using about 0.9 Gig of RAM in idle and I could probably go lower if I wanted to.
