@gerrymcgovern There is an estimated 320-345 quintillion gallons of water in the worlds oceans so water is not what is in short supply, energy is. We have the technology to address the energy situations. Most immediately molten salt breeder reactors, longer term hydrogen fusion, adjunct sources, wave power, tidal power, solar, wind, but these things really require the construction of a global super grid to match intermittent production with demand.
