Okay, in a slight turn of events, I could get this whole kit (gf insists on lending me the money) and get a massive, yet affordable, upgrade for the computer, to try to offset the upcoming crap that is coming on the computer world.Would love to hear all the thoughts on all my computer savvy gents:RAM will stay as it is, 32Gb 3200Mhz DDR4.

Okay, as far as my checks can reach, everything is compatible (even the AIO webpage has a motherboard check for this, that's cool) It's a tight fit, but seems good to me. Worst case scenario I have to remove a plasticpart that covers the rear ports.This is the final list:

Final list.I smarted myself and checked an unboxing of the CPU. As I feared, it doesn't come with thermal paste, so I added a 4g sirynge.Also, the Full black AIO crapped out on the offer and insisted on trying to charge me an undiscounted amount, so I switched to the RGB one, just because the faux fan is white and I really like the turbine aesthetic anyway.Checking with VR SC community we expect that I should mantain the same monitor FPS from the old setup, into VR with the new setup.

Okay, so I accidentally bought the smaller version of the 2 fan AIO (240 vs 280).Funnily enough, there is not that much difference about cooling, but it will definitely fit better in my computer case, wich is nice.Curiously, I even found a comparison between them using the exact CPU I got. Cool! (pun intended, ambient temperature on tests: 23ºC)I think I'm plenty good. Maybe a bit tight on the hotest days of summer, but I probably won't be doing VR at that moment anyway.

Okay, so, it turns out, the Graphics card was also coming from elsehwere.HOWEVER, delivery date was supposed to be January 9th. Seller did not send it before the date, I called customer service (they where super helpful and understanding 10/10) and a complaint was filed by the main company.They said there had been a problem with deliveries, if I could wait. I said no problem, thinking the card would ship on monday/tuesday?Well...it hasn't shipped, not even started order prep.

Just for inertia I had kept looking at GPU's (mostly to understand how everything had evolved since I last was in the market for a computer (and kinda understand where the GPU naming and branding goes on.So, anyway, long story short, at this point I said, fuck it, I'll just get a better gpu.Requested a refund, and for 50€ more, I'll get a 5070

Okay, what a WILD ride.So, this morning I just saw that the refund wasn't 2 to 3 business days, but up to 5.That wasn't a problem per se, until I saw the latest news, nvidia killing 5060Ti and 5070Ti gpu.That totally means people are going to flock around 5070's and price increases are around the corner.I am really not in the mood of risking not being able to purchase any card because people in my country found out this during the weekend.But of course, I don't have the refund yet!

So, what then?My debit card can fraction payments. They get a fee, of course, but in this case was around 8€ for 570, and I said to myself that it would be terrible for that small amount, to suddenly not being able to get my gpu.Now I'll be paying in two 290€ parts, starting in March.In a way, it lets me save a bit of money in the meantime, so it's convenient-ish.NOTE: this one comes from the seller directly, no "marketplace" shit like the other gpu or the psu.Should arrive on monday.

Okay, okay, this is cool.GPU is out for delivery today instead of monday. (sent it to a pickup point rather than at home) I mean, monday delivery was completely reasonable having ordered it on friday.Oh well, I know what I'm doing on Sunday. 😄
