       the post was probably boosted somewhere in your timeline already. mastodon doesnt show you multiple boosts by default.

       its on by default because it might be annoying to repeatedly see a trending post at the top.snac does this too, if a post is boosted again after youve seen it, it doesnt bring it to the top of the feed.CC: @gnemmi@snac.lab8.cz
