@Nonilex LOL. The USA already has rights under its treaty with Denmark/Greenland to do most of what Trump wants. It has had them since about WWII.What they don't give him is the right to extract Greenland's resources without restraint, in an environmentally ruinous way, at or below cost. @Nonilex Once again, had SCOTUS not picked around about ruling that tariffs are for congress to decide and had congress not completely abdicated this responsibility we wouldn't have to worry about tariff threats every damn week. How do you plan for long term finances when major taxes can be added on a whim like this? Do I need to start adding 100% tariff estimates to my proposed budgets so I'm not fucked when the prices skyrocket unexpectedly, or the vendor simply gives up the market?

@Nonilex No country can put tariffs to any of these countries (except the UK) without putting them to the entire EU common market, because, well, market wise is a unified country in itself. Trump has already tried to do that, and he could not.If he finally does it, he is picking a trade war with the entire EU and the UK. Even worse: the agreement to raise tariffs to the EU and lower them to the US is still to be started. This will put it on hold indefinitely (if he is breaking it, there is no sense sealing it). If that dick wants to stall this until summer, well, better for us, because he will find us more prepared.We just signed a commerce treaty with Mercosur; maybe it is time to sign another one with the African Union, China or whatever, and stop trading with a country that clearly doesn't want to make business with us.
