@menherahair I think I dropped Steins;Gate like 3 times before getting into it properly. I find that with a lot of Visual novels, once they get their hook in you, you can't stop reading it, but before then, it can be boring as shit. It's funny too because it ends up meaning the first playthrough feels like it takes forever even if it's actually not that long, i remember it taking me like a week to beat my first playthrough of a muv luv extra route, but looking back it really wasn't that long at all. once i started reading it properly, i finished the whole main trilogy in like two or three weeks. i guess it's just how invested you are.

@menherahair It's not that I mind something taking a long time to read, but my ability to read something continuously and in high volumes is usually indicative of it's quality, or at least it's entertainment value (arguably the same thing).
