Im not gonna lie. I like these frozen breakfast sandwiches. Biscuits are the worst though. Texture is wrong. Normally I would prefer a biscuit. Croissants > English Muffins > Bagels > Waffles > Pancakes > Biscuits Waffles & Pancakes would rank higher if they werent infused with syrup.

Sometimes a frozen breakfast sandwich is what is called for. They are fast, low mess and pretty tasty and the price is low, especially if you arent cooking for a crowd.

@EscapeVelo Wife made me breakfast this morning using frozen puff pastry. Does that count? Line a 9" tart pan with puff pastry. Spread the pastry with a thin layer of dijon mustard. Put down a layer of chopped fresh asparagus, then a layer of prosciutto, topped with a layer of grated fontina cheese. Baked at 400 for 20 minutes. Dang, was that good! Simple, but filled with flavor.

@EscapeVelo I made pancakes the other day, and the wife says try it without syrup. I did. They were fucking amazing. A dab of butter and it was gold. Best fucking pancake I ever made, and it was just a little vanilla.Amazing what one ingredient will do.

Yes, they would be great with a sausage and egg stacked for sandwich, but the sugar kills it.

The French have long stuffed breakfast foods in crepes. It's the same idea. Sometimes they stuff crepes with fruit and whipped cream, sometimes they stuff crepes with savory foods. It's the same principle. Unfortunately, Corporate Goyslop put McGriddles injected with sugar syrup out there, instead of the superior plain pancake, sausage and egg stack.
