I want to set up a drive to use for storage, I am thinking in caching for misskey, user content, probably storage for a proper nextcloud instance, probably a catbox as well, however I don't know if it would be better to use object storage or plain filesystem with proper persimissions.

@weeble@fedi.bungle.online no issue, I just want to use my drive for what I bought it lol, I am just wondering if it would be better to set up a s3 instance or just use the filesystem as is and probably set up a proper local lan/virtual drive.I want to be able to access the drive from the outside too.

@sarvo@novoa.nagoya I currently have an s3 for it and its nice cuz I get a bit more control over files. And yeah it'll auto use the s3 links on the drive.
