my vet is an old white guy, he gave me a deal on my previous dog's treatment, he saved her life and basically cut my 1k bill she racked up to like 700 and i could pay it over time, so i ain't got shit against vetrinarians.

@sickburnbro @dissidentsoaps They can't do that if you don't take them to the vet for yearly checkups. I don't even get a yearly checkup. Who can afford that? I vaccinate mine once as older puppies for the Da2PP and rabies, and that's it. Feed them raw. I don't ever take them to dog parks or groomers and I don't board them. They pick up all kinds of crap including bad behavior at those places and the people who work there are pierced pink-haired freaks and/or wine swine wammans who cannot be trusted with helpless creatures. If animals have a real health issue, just as with humans you have to do your own research and stand flat-footed when they try to pressure you into expensive testing and treatment.

@dictatordave @sickburnbro @dissidentsoaps That's because all my dogs would do anything they could for me that was in their power which isn't the same for people. This isn't some universal slam as that's just the way they're programmed which, at least for me, makes it even harder because it's impossible for us to return the favor 😔

@sickburnbro @dissidentsoaps Damnit the same thing happens to me.My wife is pregnant and there are two appointments to which husbands are not allowed during the medical process, they're supposed to be used to make sure the wife isn't forced to have the child, and isn't a victim of domestic violence, etc.Well guess what they use those times the woman is isolated for?You guessed it, they sell her useless shit by guilting her into not being a bad mother.Of course you need 5D ultrasounds to make sure the child doesn't have six fingers.Of course you need more expensive versions of supplements you already have at home.Of course you need a bigger room for when you give birth.Makes me want to hurt people.
