@julia on the DSi it's a daughterboard, not sure about the 3DS? but i think to keep DS/DSi games working you'd need to emulate the original adapter which would be a nightmare

@leo@60228.dev @julia@eepy.moe it's a very similar Atheros chip on both the DSi and 3DS. you'd essentially have to emulate a slightly modified ar6k firmware via SDIO

@julia less invasive solution would probably be to find a way to glue an esp32 to the cartridge slot. i wonder if the octal spi peripheral would work

@julia nm ospi is only supported as a controller and not a target. if you controlled the 3ds-side code i wonder if you could get away with qspi?
