He's just a shit director with the sense of humor of a brain damaged 3 year old.John McTiernan understood how to have awesome explosions and also not direct the movie like a spaz hopped up on speed. It is possible, Explosions don't mean you have to make a shitty movie.

@tj I'm not against explosions. I'm against Bay's directing style - no shot lasts longer than 3 seconds, constantly cuts to weird actors saying cuss words which he thinks is funny, and not understanding that making an hour and a half movie over two hours long because of too many montages of guns and dudes walking with guns isn't very entertaining.I've been comparing his slop with things like Die Hard and Predator and Lethal Weapon and there's just no comparison.

@parker Ian McKellen is definitely a homo.And I hate most modern directors, too. I just happen to be watching a Michael Bay movie right now and can't help but notice what a shit director he is. Especially since I watched Don Siegel's "Escape from Alcatraz" last night.

@souldessin My favorite is the Epic Rap Battles of History where he shows up and just raps about how he makes a lot of money. He literally just rhymes "money" with itself 5 or 6 times in a row, because he couldn't care less.
