@Nils It isn't about economics, the EU doesn't have the weapons to force the US to do anything in regard to it's military, that can turn into a military occupation instantly if the US decides that it needs to.

@Captain_Wet_Beard @Nils How long do you think a bunch of Mexicans in uniform can hold out surrounded deep inside enemy territory?These aren't FOBs man, most of these places are pretty low-security logistical bases, storage depots, etc. NOT geared for defense. Europeans also do in fact have armies. Capable of fighting a real war? Eh. Capable of overrunning said bases? Easily. Let's leave the bravado aside for a minute and just be sober and accept that if the Euros kick us out, we're going. Now can they stop us coming back? Less certain.
