       This is more of an cashu thing as a whole, but recovery is absolutely atrocious. If a wallet has a ton of proofs in it and you need to recover, might as well consider that lost.

       I don’t the general Cashu recovery is bad. It works quite well (I guess it depends on how you define “a ton” haha). There is a proposal for a filter approach that would let you restore proofs even more efficiently. For npub.cash v2+ it does not actually store any proofs, but only mint quotes. There is close to no state on the server side. Recovery would take a while, but is easy.Once we have batched minting (proposal open) it will be much much faster too

       You don't think it's bad? I can tell you objectivity I've lost sats bc of it. I plugged my recovery seed or whatever it's called into npub.cash and it only found ~ 2k sats on a wallet with 50k
