I have deep admiration for activists who get their steps in while saving the world. I honestly wonder if Strava’s backend starts to notice: thousands of users all moving down the same streets at the same time. Does it flag a protest the way it flags a marathon? Because in 2026, if it’s not logged, it didn’t happen. Even revolution wants kudos.

@chris that's really funny Chris!I assume that Google is tracking most of these people real time. And since Google was funded by the government in the early days, we can also assume that the CIA or NSA also have this info in real time. Will we see the government use this info to shit down these protests in our lifetime?

@PeaceandProsperity One thing that people are quickly going to realize is that everything that we've painted as despotism and dictatorships and so forth end up actually being the complete will of the people who are "tired of all their bullshit I wish they would stop we've been very patient and now they just need to fucking go away." Once everybody realizes that dictatorship and despotism are just code for "get the fuck away from me you fucking insane piece of shit" then things will change.

@chris it seems like the "leave me the fuck alone" crowd is growing. Covid pushed a bunch of normies (like me) from the suburbs out into more rural areas. I was perfectly happy in the suburbs pre-covid.Now I live in a smallish town, wear flannel shirts and shoot a compound bow for fun. I'm a totally different guy than I was just a few years ago. I'm seeing a big trend of people trying to figure out how to get out into the country and just want to be left alone.Check out the population explosion of Montana.

@PeaceandProsperity @chris In general, people are fleeing the rotting systemIt's why pagan beliefs were named after the countrysideAnd why rural Italy is a lot whiter and smarter than the cities

@PeaceandProsperity Yeah the only thing about Montana is this being completely taken over by billionaires and 100 millionaires. I think even Megyn Kelly has a house in Montana.

@chris that story is blown out of proportion. Wealthy people have always had mountain retreats. But tens of thousands of normal people are fleeing democrat states like WA, OR and CA for Idaho and MT. Montana only has something like a million people. And during Covid, something like 50 people per day were moving to Bozeman alone.

@PeaceandProsperity @chris There are huge parts of Italy that are basically unoccupied because of people lost in the world wars.

@PeaceandProsperity @chris Many, and others I think people just moved because in a lot of these towns where population dropped, economic opportunity has never returned unless you are a farmer.Bigger point is that when Rome went diverse, all the whitish wops fled to the countryside.

@PeaceandProsperity @chris I have spent some time in Italy but do not live there.I briefly contemplated one of these empty homes, but ultimately decided that I did not want to deal with Italian government.

@amerika my wife and were considering retiring in Spain, but I feel like Europe is circling the drain. At least Italy has the common sense to elect Maloni. It might become a safe haven after all. @chris

@PeaceandProsperity @chris Agreed on Europe, and the rot is in so deep that it is hard to want to go there. But things are turning around. Europe is just escaping an autoimmune infection through metaphysical dualism and moralistic humanism, known civilization-killers.

@amerika I was in Spain and Greece last summer and had a great time! I'd move to Greece if I thought it would be stable long term, but that's still debatable. Crete would be my preferred location, mainly because they remind me of Americans.@chris

@PeaceandProsperity @chris I have considered Malta in the past for similar reasons. Pleasant place. You need a few credit cards though.
