       I dunno who needs to hear this but being in pain is not a fucking virtue, and taking pain killers is not immoral or something that needs to be stopped or even discouraged.

       @SophistifunkI wonder if the mind can be taught to ignore constant throbbing pain and that painkillers suppress this ability if it exists.

       @Sophistifunk yeah, it's retarded if you aren't pregnant - which neither you or i can be.i can deal with many kinds of pain but not splitting headaches. i know some alternatives that work for me by now, but if those fail i'll happily take a painkiller. usually that's enough to make it disappear for the day.
