       I don’t have a ranking, but a few that come to mind off the top of my head are @8806372a @28ca019b @ad9d4220 @a6a22d58 @78070802 @f4db5270 @59a98c04 . Some sell their work, some rely more on V4V. Most are probably on multiple platforms and use multiple methods of monetization, but that doesn’t negate the fact that nostr is part of what they’re doing, and that it has potential to become an even larger platform for their work as it grows. The easier it is for artists/creators to publish their work, engage with their audiences, and monetize their work, the better overall it will be for nostr’s growth. And that requires devs willing to focus on what users actually want and need.

       I vibed a tool to check all the big relays and as far as it found all those 7 earned a combined $85 from zaps last month. So one Chipotle burrito per person on average. If these folks represent (in some way) the current top earning cohort on nostr then that's a real issue! (Not talking about selling paintings or soap or wine btw, just pure zaps.)The vibe tool could be off, but even so this still goes back to @32e18276 's point, there just isn't much potential revenue floating around for creators to tap into. To go from a small group of creators earning a Chipotle burrito per month to even just two or three creators earning an actual living, or even some decent side-gig revenue, would require a truly massive increase in the number of people here.
