I have made the bold choice to buy a new TV... from Leon's. Classically a Canadian furniture store, not electronics, but they're the only store I could find that can deliver the target TV this week. Other stores were out-of-stock or targeting February 5th.After placing the order online, I received a call 15 minutes later, confirming the order, informing me of the delivery window. Great. Maybe furniture delivery expertise is a good fit for large electronics. 🤔

@gnomon A Samsung 65" S95F. I'm pretty excited for it, QD-OLED. It's a 9 yr bump in technology for our main living room, and the Vizio it's replacing has started crashing and restarting... so it should be a great choice for not doing that, and looking good while not doing it.

@bkuhn I have to confess that yes, I did mean to. That was a _very_ oblique joke. (Are you familiar with @cwebber 's occasional pleas for someone to help explain how ActivityPub works? Crops up every few months, always pulls in some very sincere explanations from people who don't realize she wrote the W3C standard.) Sorry for being unnecessarily obscure, I meant no harm by it.
