       They might be a bit pricey, but you should have a look at the Hikvision Colorvu 3.0 network cameras, ideally the 8mp modelsInstalled a few of those and they are just unbelievableEven in back gardens with barely any ambient lighting it looks like daylight on a sunny day, in fact when the floodlights come on its WORSE than without them, as they cast severe black shadows, but without the spotlight you can still see details in shadowy areasThere are models that have an SD card slot, so you dont even need an NVR or DVR, and can just connect directly to the cameras with the APP or over the local network
