       @Shadowman311 really that's the best position to be in, if you can. If a majority of people believe you were backed into using a power that can be abused, you will have a lot more leeway against the torrent of propaganda the media will use.Most people just are worried it will be a repeat of 2020 where Trump just impotently screams "law and order!"

       @Shadowman311 another situation where both sides know it'll be a disaster and both sides expect to gain an advantage over the other as a result of it. So the disaster's inevitable. The US government was always called a ratchet, one party always the useless collaborator of the other, serving only to prevent things from getting better in the slack, but now the US government's broken down so that there's not even that much opposition anymore. All we have is post-disaster scheming.

       @apropos I don't think it'll be a "boots on the ground" civil war, but we are most certainly headed for some kind of nationwide stochastic mass casualty event. Like the George Floyd riots on steroids, that may very well be a lead up to the former.

       If I were a betting man, the most likely time-frame for this sort of terroristic event would probably be on America's 250th Anniversary on July 4th this year. It would make a significant impact while normal Americans would be at their most patriotic.

       @Shadowman311 @apropos I'm of the belief that America has been at Civil War since the 1960's with the advent of the Equal Right Movements.As far as "boots on the ground" we have also had boots on the ground for the same amount of time- look at the violent crime rate of niggers.You don't have to wear a uniform to be a soldier for your cause. Wearing gang colors works just as well.
