       I've tried *so* many times to use dark mode on my Mac. Always turn it off after less than a day. How can people work like this? It's like a return to the bad old days before the first Mac normalized black-on-white (i.e., paper-like) UIs.

       You may be thinking, "why keep trying dark mode if he hates it so much?" Two words: Zoom and eyeglasses. Dark mode reduces reflections.
