@ginaintheburg I’m guessing either state of federal impound lot. This was a HUGE issue in Chicago after an ICE agent shot a woman who very fortunately lived, the car was not only unavailable to her attorneys but to anyone. The agent who shot her was allowed to drive it hundreds of miles away to I think Maine. I’ll try to find the article. Eventually the federal government dropped all charges against her. She is still suing.
