@WTFPurpleAlpaca @Phynster if the US plans to stop backstopping the EU, and to exit NATO, and to cut off the Europeans from influencing Canada - all of those require Greenlandand given that it is an empty Island right next to the US, and Denmark's population is 6 million - I don't think it would be much of a war

@WTFPurpleAlpaca @Phynster I also am not looking forward to another great power war, but Europe is clearly hellbent on continuing the Russo-Ukrainian war into a kinetic continental conflict and there are likely to be other conflicts that kicks into warsat the end of the day, all you can do is shrug and say "I am not fighting for Jews"also, it could be nice for the US to actually just be a real empire as it would stabilize shit to have a real superpower in the world that can slap the shit out of the EU and the rest of the kleptocratic states

@Bunsen @WTFPurpleAlpaca @Phynster there is no guarantee of that - for all its problems, Constantinople's fall resulted in it becoming a Turkish hell hole, the fall of Rome resulted in a much shittier series of states, etc. - in fact, I cannot think of any great state that sits atop the ruins of a great empireI think people should do what they can to take control of this empire, and to make use of the resources and logistics that exist before the collapse removes them
