When something like what happened in Venezuela happens, you have to rely on the mainstream media. I tried the US media first—no luck. Then I tried the West German media—as usual, they were screaming that Russia was to blame and interviewing “experts” from Washington, D.C. So I ended up watching Al Jazeera all night, like billions of other people. I was totally impressed again. For some reason, they have competent observers everywhere on the ground, while everyone else is interviewing each other. It's going to sink. https://www.aljazeera.com/ #news #venezuela #aljazeera #trump #us #eu #politics

and have you tried the russian media as well? :)  - and (even if I dont like the "Besitzstruktur of these media oulets) with "Berliner Zeitung (and their expendiation strategy to create new East German regional papers in the East) and "Nordkurier" there seems to appear for the first time something that one could describe as an East German media. Its quite intersting to see how different those two newspapers report about Ukraine, Venezuela, China etc. in comparison the West German media. Gives a little bit hope.
