       I don't know any gun lover who makes that point. Mostly they use guns for fun, hunting, and when the police won't help. I will say that if peasants owning guns was so unimportant, the fascists wouldn't be trying so hard to take them away.

       @cy @limneticvillains Over decades, I've been in many #2ndA #Gunrights "debates"American and Australian, literally every single one the key "Argument" was;"I need my guns to stop #tyrants"And now they do have a tyrant, many of these Nazi cunts are signing up for the $50K #ice bonuses.I used to be in a gun club in my youth (Australia) and still have some gun toting friends and a nonzero number of them definitely have underlying fantasies about wielding their guns in their head canon hero apocalypse.It's disingenuous to claim they don't.Speaking as a former gun owner, the "fun" aspect of gun ownership is a stretch. You can have more fun with a drill or a mitre saw. Unless you dream of killing things, for whatever reason.NB. There are some real nutters in that "community", in many years online, the only time I was doxxed and pursued was in a gun "debate"
